Quick Tips
Preventive Care
Even if you take care of your teeth, and they aren't causing you any issues, you should still come in for a checkup at least twice a year. If you know that your teeth regularly have issues, you should regularly come in for an appointment to let us take better care of your teeth. Make sure to come in for a consultation and book your next appointment while you are here!
Start Early:
Proper oral hygiene habits are learned young. Whenever your toddler begins to be able to hold a toothbrush (usually around 2 years old), they should begin brushing their teeth while being supervised. This can create beneficial habits that last a lifetime.
Caution: Children under six should be supervised at all times while brushing their teeth; swallowing toothpaste can be harmful to them!
Dr. Issa recommends that a first visit to the dentist should happen around 3 years of age. Establishing regular visits at a young age has been proven to improve the health and stability of teeth in adults.
